Before partition our family belonged to chak no 351 EB. I still remember its location. It is about 2 or 3 km short of Trikhni Bangla. My grand father Sub Maj ( Hony Lt) Isher singh used to live in that chak. His dera known as Laftains Kothi was on the right of road Arifwal-- Trikhni Bangla. I alongwith my cousin used to spend summer vacations in that chak. My grand father owned about 18 squares of land in that ckak. I still remember postman Tufail ji who used to bringh Dak from Arifwala. My grand father was numberdar of the chak. Chak had post office and a primary school which my grand father never let those be snached away by other chaks walas.I fondly remamber our bathing in Rajwaha next to our Dera towards the main canal. In fact I learnt swimming in that Rajbaha only That Rajbaha should be 11 L if I am not wrong. Not forgetting 9L towards Arifwala from our Dera.
Incidently I am about 80 years of age now. I was born in chak no 21 2L near Renala Khurd (Mallian wala ) We had land in that ghak also.
I would love to hear about the development in that chak.
